From the Head of Primary

Welcome Back!

As we embark on Term 4, I want to extend a warm welcome back to our students and families. I hope you all enjoyed a restful break and are ready for an exciting and productive term ahead!

This term, our dedicated teachers have engaged in professional development to realign our practices with our vision for learning. At Mundaring Christian College, we believe our mission is to embrace and realise every child’s God-given potential in a safe and supportive environment. This commitment drives us to continually refine our teaching methods and create an atmosphere where every child can thrive.

Evidence-based practices underpin our teaching and learning approach. We maintain high expectations to cultivate an enduring passion for learning, empowering our students to explore, innovate, and succeed throughout their lives. Seeing how our students have eased back into school life has been wonderful, showcasing growth and resilience. Their enthusiasm and creativity are truly inspiring!

As we enter this term, I encourage you to reflect on Proverbs 22:6, which reminds us, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” This scripture underscores the importance of guiding our children in their learning journey, and we are grateful for your partnership in nurturing their growth.

Together, let’s support our students as they continue to discover their strengths and pursue their passions. Thank you for being such an integral part of our school community. Here’s to a successful and enriching Term 4!
