Co-written by Kiara D (Year 12 Media Production ATAR Student) and Mr. David Pethick (Media Teacher)
The 2023 Media Perspectives Evening started off with worry as it was predicted to rain during the showing of the films. However, from the time of arrival throughout the showcase there was not a spot of rain in sight. Ava P’s (former Year 12 ATAR Media Production and Analysis student) production FIVE was part of the line up. A high honour being selected as one of the top films out of the 40 submitted, requiring a predicted 80% production score, and containing copyright free content from Western Australia.
This was the first Mundaring Christian College item to be selected for this event, with the course running for only it’s the third year. Year 11 and 12 ATAR and General Media students embraced the night presented by ATOMWA at the Telethon Community Centre in Burswood; it has excited and inspired those who attended.
